Elena Gilotta is a passionate technology lawyer. After a few years in law firms in Europe, in year 2000, she started her career as in-house in large IT corporations. She built innovative legal framework for then emerging business models (embedded, pay-per-use and cloud access contracts). Her exposure to technology include digital health, autonomous driving (since 2008), quantum computing (2020), VR, Smart Contracts, and lately LLM applications and data framing.
Elena owns a Master of Laws in IP Law and Medical Ethics from the University of Edinburgh and a CIPP-e certification.Currently she is working as Chief Legal Officer, managing a team of lawyers at a leading fintech company offering cloud based services and other digital products to the banking and insurance market.
