Linsey Krolik

Linsey Krolik is Assistant Clinical Professor at Santa Clara University School of Law where she teaches classes and clinics in privacy law, startup law, and technology law. She is the Director of the Entrepreneurs' Law Clinic (ELC) where she oversees law students as they advise entrepreneurs, the Director of the Tech Edge JD program which is an experiential certificate program for law students interested in working in technology law, and Co-Supervisor of the Privacy Law Certificate.

Professor Krolik has been an attorney advising companies of all stages – from startups to medium to large global companies – for over twenty years. She has worked in-house for PayPal, ARM, BILL, and Palm in a variety of leadership and transactional legal roles, including leading the product legal team at PayPal, starting BILL's privacy program, and being a leader of the award-winning legal team separating PayPal from eBay. Today, in addition to teaching, Professor Krolik operates a law practice focused mainly on privacy law and AI governance.
