Join the CommunityAs organisations move from experimenting with AI to embedding it into workflows - and increasingly working with AI agents - the governance challenge is changing too.
An AI policy alone won't solve that challenge. We need to understand which risks we're trying to manage, what frameworks and controls need to be put in place, and where AI itself might help us make compliance and governance more effective.
At this community event in Stockholm on November 17, we'll bring together a smaller group of in-house legal, privacy and compliance professionals to share practical experiences and compare how organisations are approaching AI governance today.
Sara Edlund, Head of Managed Services at Synch, and Karolina Pekkari, Partner at Synch.
Sara and Karolina will set the scene by exploring what changes when AI moves from assisting to acting - and why an AI policy alone is no longer enough.
They'll introduce a simple framework for thinking about how to govern AI that acts, giving us a shared reference point for the company cases and roundtable discussion that follow.
Caroline Lagercrantz, Head of Corporate Affairs & Tech at ICA Gruppen.
Caroline will share practical insights from ICA Gruppen's AI journey and what it takes to build the skills, confidence and culture needed to turn AI into real business value across a large organisation.
She'll also take us behind the successes and share some of the challenges, tensions and lessons that come with encouraging experimentation while maintaining the right level of governance and human judgement.
Andrea Hemming, General Counsel at Tandem Health
Andrea will show how Tandem Health uses AI in its internal work and how AI has become a baseline in its compliance work.
Drawing on real-life examples, she'll share both wins and fails, along with the practical lessons they've learned from using AI itself to support compliance in a company where AI sits at the core of the product.
From there, we'll open up the conversation and bring everyone's own experiences, questions, and challenges to the room.
Together, we'll explore:
The aim is to learn from both real-life examples and each other: what's working, what isn't, and what we're still figuring out.
The event is free to join and limited to 20 participants to keep the conversation open, practical, and interactive.
Please note: Your spot isn't confirmed until you get a calendar invitation from us. Please keep an eye on your inbox and spam folder.
