Elena Turtureanu

Elena Turtureanu is an international lawyer, legal and privacy professional who advises c-level and senior leaders on complex legal, privacy and compliance matters. Elena currently leads Adform’s global data protection, privacy and regulatory compliance, with focus on product strategy, go to market, commercial, public policy and regulatory matters. She served as GC at Smaato and as a senior legal counsel at SAP, navigating complex and changing industry and regulatory landscape in the EU on ad tech, mobile, identity, artificial intelligence and software enterprise.

Elena is forward-thinking privacy expert with focus on building and developing scalable data protection and privacy standards and frameworks in fast paced innovative environments. She is highly engaged in being part of key working groups developing and setting industry standards, and regularly speaks on privacy, legal and policy-related challenges facing the digital ad industry. Elena loves working in fast paced environments where compliance with new or evolving privacy laws and regulations is made a priority (or she can make them a priority) and she helps build innovative new products and services, and develop the organization’s long-term strategy for privacy.
