As 2024 comes to a close, we want to take a moment to reflect on the exciting features and updates we’ve introduced this year. At Openli, our mission is to make privacy compliance simple and transparent, and this year has been all about empowering you to take control of your privacy efforts.

Here’s a recap of what we’ve rolled out in 2024:

1. Privacy Pages & Badges: Showcasing Your Commitment to Privacy

This year, we introduced Privacy Pages & Badges, a feature designed to let your customers and website visitors know that privacy is a top priority for your business.

Privacy Pages: A centralized hub where you can showcase your company’s privacy policies, certifications, and compliance efforts. This user-friendly space ensures stakeholders and customers can easily access the privacy information they need, building trust and transparency.

Privacy Badges: Easily embedded on your website, these badges demonstrate your commitment to privacy. By proactively sharing information about your privacy efforts, you not only build trust but also reduce the number of questions directed to your already busy legal, privacy, or security teams.

2. Vendor Controls: Simplified and Streamlined

Managing vendors is now easier than ever with the launch of Vendor Controls. This feature allows you to document vendor-related privacy and security details seamlessly, set up controls, and even assign responsibilities within your team. It’s all about reducing complexity and improving collaboration around vendor management.

3. A Single Source of Truth for All Your Vendors

We’ve expanded the platform to allow you to add all your suppliers—not just data processors—to Openli. This ensures everything is in one place, simplifying efforts across supply chains and vendor vetting.

When adding a vendor, simply mark whether they process personal data or not using a toggle. Based on your input, we’ll either carry out full GDPR vetting or create a vendor profile where you can upload important documents such as order forms, agreements, and more.

4. “Waiting on Me” Improvements: Smoother Workflow Management

The “Waiting on Me” feature got a major upgrade this year, making it easier for you to stay on top of tasks and respond to pending requests. This enhancement was designed to streamline your workflow, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.

We’re already working on exciting updates for 2025. Your feedback continues to shape our platform, and we’re committed to making privacy compliance even more efficient and transparent.

Wishing you a successful and privacy-compliant 2025!

Happy New Year!
